Established during the summer of 2004 by Emeroy Bernardo, Erick Bernardo, Marc Miranda, Nick Bautista, Ivan Pabon, and Paulo Samaco, [FAM]ily [BIZ]ness started as a collection of friends performing for parties and church events, and eventually grew more than just a small group as the years passed. While many other high school kids were out at the mall hanging out with friends, these boys were out at parks and parking lots choreographing planning their next performance routine. Sharing the common love and passion for dance, FamBiz aims for a definitive style of choreography and entertainment. And through their dance, they hope to inspire others as well.

Although the founding members could have joined other dance teams, they didn’t want to simply be a part of a movement, they wanted to start one. Founded in the city of Glendale and now based in Alhambra, FamBiz caught the eye of the dance community with their competition debut at Maxt Out. “You guys came out of no where,” claims one of the more influential members of the community. From that moment, the momentum quickly shifted as they were invited to do many more prestigious events and performances such as World of Dance – Pomona, Urban Street Jam, and Kababayan Fest held at Knotts Berry Farm.

Along with sharing their talents through their performances, the also take the opportunity to share their knowledge and love for dance by teaching the younger generation. Many of the members currently teach at their home dance studio, Jayvee Dance Center located in Alhambra, CA. In addition, two members of Fambiz' core team also direct a junior competition team called Junior Hit List, which consists of 11-18 year old within the area of the San Gabriel Valley.

To this very moment, FamBiz stands out as a story of not only determined passion and inspired talent, but that of a group of friends who could not help but follow a shared dream.
